ROME, GA - After a significant overnight rainfall and a dismal forecast the remainder of the day officials with Rome Speedway and the ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series have been forced to postpone the Rome Rumble for Sunday, April 23rd. The $4000 to win event will be rescheduled to Sunday, May 7th. In addition to the Rome date the series will now also sanction Dixie’s season opener, another $4000 to win event, on Saturday, May 6th. “We had hoped that the rain would have been minimal and the forecast would improve but it just didn’t. CLANTON GOES CLEAN AND GREEN FOR SENOIA, GA ULTIMATE WIN

SENOIA, GA – Shane Clanton of Zebulon, GA took the lead on lap two from 15-year-old Zach Leonhardi of Cartersville, GA and then led the rest of the way to pick up the $4,000 top prize in the 40-lap ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series South East Region Main Event on Saturday night at Senoia Raceway. Clanton completed the distance in just over 11 caution-free minutes driving the Weldbank Energy/Cooper’s Country Meat Packers/Super K Express Capital Race Car with Clements power.
