Mike Marlar wins Ultimate event at Ponderosa Speedway

Junction City, Kentucky (August 21, 2015) - The Ultimate Super Late Model Series traveled to Ponderosa Speedway located in Junction City, Kentucky Friday August 21st for a $15,012 to win event. Mike Marlar of Winfield, Tennessee took control of the lead on lap 56 of 75 from pole sitter Scott Bloomquist to lead the remaining laps to pick up the win. Scott Bloomquist, Dustin Linville, Jared Landers, and Justin Ratliff rounded out the top five finishers. READ MORE

Johnny Pursley Races to First Career ULTIMATE Series Victory at Travelers Rest Speedway

Travelers Rest, South Carolina (August 15, 2015) – It had been more than 5 years since Super Late Models had raced at the Travelers Rest Speedway. Saturday night the ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series made their first ever visit to the 3/8ths of a mile oval and brought Super Late Model Racing back to the facility in grand style. The grandstands and pit area were filled to capacity and the huge crowd on hand witnessed an outstanding 2 and 3 wide battle for the lead. After 5 official lead changes and many others along the way it was Johnny Pursley of Clover, South Carolina emerging victorious in the $4000 to win Whitey Whitesides Memorial. The event drew 18 of the region’s best drivers for M&W Transport Haulin’ It Pole Qualifying. READ MORE
