Ben Watkins Scores Ultimate Southeast Victory At Lancaster
Lancaster, South Carolina - The Ultimate Super Late Model Series Southeast Region traveled to Lancaster Motor Speedway located in Lancaster, South Carolina on Saturday July 8th for a 40 lap event paying $5,000 to win.
Ben Watkins of Rock Hill, South Carolina took the lead on lap two of the event and led the remainder of the event to score the victory with the Ultimate Super Late Model Series Southeast Region Saturday at Lancaster Motor Speedway worth $5,000. The victory was Watkins third all time with the Ultimate Southeast Tour. Michael Brown, Jeff Smith, Christian Thomas, and Dennis Franklin rounded out the top five finishers. The fast qualifier of the event was Christian Thomas. After starting 11th and finishing 6th Anthony Sanders was the hard charger of the event.
The next event currently scheduled for the Ultimate Super Late Model Series Southeast Region is set for August 5th at Sumter Speedway located in Sumter, South Carolina paying $10,000 to win.
