Christian Thomas Scores Ultimate Southeast Victory At Lancaster
Nichols, South Carolina - The Ultimate Super Late Model Series Southeast Region traveled to Lake View Motor Speedway located in Nichols, South Carolina on Saturday May 13th for a 40 lap event paying $5,000 to win. 21 competitors signed into Saturdays event all seeing who could claim their spot in victory lane.
Christian Thomas of Wake Forest, North Carolina led all 40 laps to score his first career Ultimate Super Late Model Series Southeast Region victory Saturday at Lake View Motor Speedway worth $5,000. Dustin Mitchell, Ben Watkins, Zack Mitchell, and Dennis Franklin rounded out the top five finishers. The fast qualifier of the event was Dustin Mitchell. After starting 17th and finishing 5th Dennis Franklin was the hard charger of the event.
The next event currently scheduled for the Ultimate Super Late Model Series Southeast Region is set for June 3rd at Halifax County Motor Speedway located in Brinkleyville, North Carolina paying $5,000 to win.
Prior to the Halifax event the Ultimate Super Late Model Series Southeast Region will be having two bonus events co-sanctioned with the Heart of America Ultimate Super Late Model Series Region which are Circle City Raceway located in Indianapolis, Indiana on May 19th paying $10,000 to win and Clarksville Speedway located in Clarksville, Tennessee on May 30th paying $10,000 to win.
