Cla Knight Scores First Career Ultimate Southeast Victory At Lancaster Motor Speedway
Lancaster, South Carolina - The Ultimate Super Late Model Series Southeast Region traveled to "The Fastest Half Mile Dirt Track In The South" Lancaster Motor Speedway located in Lancaster, South Carolina on Saturday May 1st for a 40 lap event paying $4,000 to win.
Looking to score his second Ultimate Southeast Tour victory of the weekend early race leader Zack Mitchell would suffer mechanical trouble on lap 20 of the event. Cla Knight of North Augusta, South Carolina would take control of the lead for the final 20 laps to score his first career Ultimate Super Late Model Series Southeast Region victory Saturday at Lancaster Motor Speedway. Ben Watkins, Jeff Smith, Ross Bailes, and Kenny Collins rounded out the top five finishers. The Davis Diesel Service fast qualifier was Zack Mitchell with a time of 18.964 seconds.
The next event currently scheduled for the Ultimate Super Late Model Series Southeast Region is set for May 8th at Cherokee Speedway located in Gaffney, South Carolina for a $5,000 to win event.
