Ricky Weiss Scores Ultimate Southeast Victory At Boyd's
Ringgold, Georgia - The Ultimate Super Late Model Series Southeast Region traveled to Boyd's Speedway located in Ringgold, Georgia on Saturday March 19th for "The Shamrock" event paying $5,000 to win. 42 competitors signed into Saturdays event all seeing who could claim their spot in victory lane.
Leading flag to flag Ricky Weiss of Headingley Manitoba, Canada held off Payton Freeman at the checkers to score his first career Ultimate Super Late Model Series Southeast Region victory Saturday at Boyd's Speedway. Payton Freeman, Jimmy Owens, Cory Hedgecock, and Cameron Weaver rounded out the top five finishers. The fast qualifier was Ricky Weiss with a time of 14.927 seconds. Consolation race winners included Donald McIntosh and Jed Emert.
The next event currently scheduled for the Ultimate Super Late Model Series Southeast Region is set for April 8th at Carolina Speedway located in Gastonia, North Carolina for a event paying $4,000 to win. The Ultimate Southeast Tour will also be in action on April 9th at Lake View Motor Speedway located in Nichols, South Carolina for a event paying $5,000 to win.
