Ross Bailes Scores Ultimate Southeast Victory At Cherokee; Zack Mitchell Crowned 2022 Ultimate Southeast Champion

Gaffney, South Carolina - The Ultimate Super Late Model Series Southeast Region traveled to "The Place Your Mama Warned You About" Cherokee Speedway located in Gaffney, South Carolina on Saturday October 22nd for the "Fall Brawl" event paying $10,000 to win. The event was 50 laps. 29 competitors signed into Saturdays event all seeing who could claim their spot in victory lane.

Inheriting the victory after Brandon Overton was disqualified for a post race deck height violation, Ross Bailes of Clover, South Carolina was declared the winner Saturday at Cherokee Speedway with the Ultimate Super Late Model Series Southeast Region scoring his twelfth career victory with the Ultimate Southeast Tour. Cla Kight, Trent Ivey, Michael Brown, and Carson Ferguson rounded out the top five finishers. Carson Ferguson raced his way from 11th to finish 5th. The fast qualifier was Brett Hamm with a time of 14.835 seconds. Heat race winners included Brett Hamm, Ben Watkins, and Ross Bailes. The B-Main winner was Taylor Puckett.

As the 2022 season concluded Saturday at Cherokee Speedway for the Ultimate Super Late Model Series Southeast Region; Zack Mitchell of Enoree, South Carolina scored his fourth career Ultimate Southeast Tour Championship (2022, 2020, 2019, 2018).
