Zack Mitchell Scores Ultimate Southeast Victory At Sumter

Sumter, South Carolina - The Ultimate Super Late Model Series Southeast Region traveled to the "Toughest Lil Dirt Track In The South" Sumter Speedway located in Sumter, South Carolina on Saturday June 25th for the "Summer Kickoff" event paying $5,000 to win. 18 competitors signed into Saturdays event all seeing who could claim their spot in victory lane.

Leading flag to flag three time Ultimate Southeast Tour champion Zack Mitchell of Enoree, South Carolina scored his twelfth career Ultimate Super Late Model Series Southeast Region victory Saturday at Sumter Speedway. Steve Banal, Banjo Duke, Austin Mintz, and Cody Overton rounded out the top five finishers. The fast qualifier was Zack Mitchell with a time of 14.557 seconds. Mitchell's qualifying time would set a new track record at the Speedway.

The next event currently scheduled for the Ultimate Super Late Model Series Southeast Region is set for July 1st at Lavonia Speedway located in Lavonia, Georgia for a event paying $4,000 to win. The Ultimate Southeast Tour will also be in action on July 2nd at Senoia Raceway located in Senoia, Georgia for a event paying $4,000 to win.
