ZACK MITCHELL SCORES ULTIMATE SOUTHEAST VICTORY AT FRIENDSHIP MOTOR SPEEDWAY
Zack Mitchell Scores Ultimate Southeast Victory At Friendship Motor Speedway
Elkin, North Carolina - The Ultimate Super Late Model Series Southeast Region returned to Friendship Motor Speedway located in Elkin, North Carolina on Saturday June 13th for a 40 lap event paying $4,000 to win. 30 Ultimate Southeast competitors signed into Saturdays event.
Zack Mitchell of Enoree, South Carolina held off challenges from Ross Bailes and GR Smith to lead flag to flag and score his seventh career win with the Ultimate Southeast Tour along with collecting a $4,000 payday Saturday at Friendship Motor Speedway. The victory would be Mitchell's second with the Ultimate Southeast Tour this season. Ross Bailes, GR Smith, Cla Knight, and Pearson Lee Williams rounded out the top five finishers. The Davis Diesel Service fast qualifier was Zack Mitchell with a time of 15.292 seconds. Last chance heat race winners included Anthony Sanders and Brian Connor.
The next event currently scheduled for the Ultimate Super Late Model Series Southeast Region is set for Saturday June 20th at 311 Motor Speedway located in Pine Hall, North Carolina paying $5,000 to win.
